Introducing our new (digital) way of signing documents

Signatures are going digital

We are introducing a new way for you to sign important documents that come from our office. It’s called DocuSign. If you haven’t yet used it, we suggest you read the following.

It’s secure, instant and can be done anywhere, anytime, on any device – we’re happy to be introducing a solution that will make life easier for our clients.

We are starting to roll out this technology gradually and will start by sending the following paperwork to you via DocuSign:

  • ASIC Annual Company Returns
  • Business Activity Statements (BAS)
  • Some accounts and tax returns where you have agreed to use DocuSign

Here’s what you need to do

Please reach out to us if you require any assistance with the following steps:

  • You’ll receive an email from us, from where you can click through to DocuSign.
  • If it’s your first time using DocuSign, you will be asked to tick a box agreeing to use the software (note: do not allow cookies to be activated).
  • Click on ‘Review Document’. If you click on the yellow ‘Start’ label, you will be taken to the first page to sign.
  • Sign as required. You can use the pre-filled signature or design your own, but please note that designing your own signature is not required for our purposes and can be a bit fiddly.
  • Click on ‘Finish’.
  • All parties are then notified and the document is submitted to Allworths. They are stored electronically for our records.
  • At the end, you may be invited to subscribe to DocuSign. Just click the “No Thanks” button (unless of course you would like to).

The first time you use DocuSign, you will be asked to choose your unique signature style. This is then stored for the signing of future documents. DocuSign means no more snail mail and cutting back on the amount of paper we use.

Best of all, you can access, sign and send documents from your desk, on the road or anywhere in between.
