Our thoughts are with our farming clients who we realise are suffering considerably at the present time.
There are a number of limited assistance packages available, which may offer some much-needed support:
Drought Assistance Fund: $50,000 interest-free loan up to 7 years for transport of stock, fodder and water, genetic banking of breeding herds and new on farm water infrastructure.
Farm Innovation Fund: a low-interest loan of up to $250,000 for capital works such as sheds, silos or water storage.
Animal Welfare Transport Subsidy: up to 50% of eligible costs for the permanent transport of stock where livestock are fat score 2 or below.
In addition to the above monetary assistance, there are a number of other assistance measures which may be of interest. Should you require further information please do not hesitate to contact us for a no-obligation discussion.
