Mark is a Fellow of the UK Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, a Chartered Accountant with Chartered Accountants Australia & New Zealand, a Chartered Tax Adviser, an ASX Accredited Listed Product Adviser and holds a Diploma of Financial Services (Financial Planning).

Working at Allworths for over 22 years has allowed me to work with a broad range of clients, both within Australia and internationally.

The best part of the job to me is getting to visit clients to understand their businesses, whether that’s in a cattle yard, shearing shed, office, warehouse or watching the manufacturing process of bitumen. We have a diverse range of clients, which always keep things interesting.

Being a small firm allows us to get to know our clients’ affairs intimately to assist them in the most accommodating and personalised manner.

One of my career highlights was getting to establish and lead our Wealth Management practice since 2009. Leveraging our client knowledge and relationships to provide caring a proactive support across insurance, estate-planning, investment advice and management (now into the second generation with some clients) has been a privilege.

To me, life is about experiences. I love to travel, not so much for what you see, but for the people you meet. Go with an open attitude and you will find most people are welcoming and are probably as interested in you as you are in them.

My boyhood passion was (and still is) Carlisle United, and most things football related, although I do love most sports. That’s why I joined the 'local oldies' soccer comp. The standard is probably on par with Carlisle, but I love it all the same.
