What’s different about Allworths?

I find the company to be small enough to be treated like a person and not just a name, which makes it feel more like a family business.

Favourite hobby?

Travelling, especially cruising the high seas. I love the feeling of being in the middle of the ocean, no land in sight, with not a care in the world!

Favourite sport?

Swimming and snorkelling. I love being taken back to my childhood, living on the beach at Kiama and soaking in the freedom we were lucky enough to enjoy.

Best travel destination or story?
Back in the days before mobile phones, I was travelling around Europe with my sister and a friend. I suggested I board the intercity train in Austria to find a good seat only to find, after trawling the carriages, that my companions were not onboard. With no idea where the next stop would be, I had no choice but to keep going, only to learn the train was not stopping until the next country! I was, however, treated to some of the most beautiful scenery whilst travelling solo around Switzerland and Austria. I knew we were meeting friends in Germany in 3 days’ time. I travelled on that train, with only the clothes I was wearing, until I arrived in Munich. Yes, even my passport was with my companions until we tearfully reunited and shared a generous German meal and beverage!

Top personal goal?
To experience happiness in each day and to be healthy in retirement so I can enjoy my spare time.
