Why did you get into accounting? 

After leaving school I knew that I wanted a career in business and becoming a Chartered Accountant appealed to me as the best way of getting a broad education in business fundamentals. Each week I work with a wide variety of clients with different situations and challenges, so it is never boring!

What’s different about Allworths? 

Allworths has a long history and a background in helping rural families. Whilst we have a broad client base now, we have many clients whose families have been with the firm for multiple generations. Most of our senior staff have been here for over 10 years. There is a real focus on client service and long-term relationships.

Favourite hobby?  

I love cars. I love reading about cars, watching cars, riding in cars, talking about cars, wearing car-related clothing and especially driving cars. High performance cars that is. I try to get to the track for supersprints and club events whenever possible. I have an unfortunate habit of buying a car, modifying it for track use, selling it and starting over again. Luckily my wife is very understanding of my car disease!
